The online magazine Infodefensa.com, specialised in the Defence and Security sector, has just published an article on IBATECH’s supply of a deployable laboratory for the identification of biological agents to the Spanish Army, more specifically to the 1st NBC Defence Regiment of Valencia.
The following is a short extract from the publication:
“The analytical equipment available in the laboratory will allow the processing and management of different types of samples to achieve a “confirmed identification” of pathogens by immunological and molecular techniques, complying with the regulations, both in reaction times and in the number of redundant agents and methodologies, and expanding the number of agents in accordance with Stanag 4632. In addition, this biological laboratory includes real-time sequencing capability as a complementary analysis method to the identification confirmed by RT-PCR”
