H2020 NAIADES consortium during its visit to the lagoon of the innovative La Marjal flood park in Alicante.

IBATECH has attended the biannual meeting of the project consortium Horizon 2020 NAIADES in Alicante, Spain. The meeting, organized by Aguas de Alicante, served to report the latest project progress as well as the consortium plans for the next 6 months. During the meeting, the consortium visited some of the innovative infrastructures for water management in the city of Alicante, which are aimed at solving or mitigating relevant water management aspects for NAIADES, such as the scarcity of water resources, the impact of seasonal storms and the already observable effects of climate change.

NAIADES is a Horizon 2020 framework project that aims to support the modernization and digitalization of the water sector by providing a holistic solution for the control and management of water ecosystems. For this, IBATECH contributes with innovative solutions for the control of water quality that contribute to this management with higher efficiency, safety, and with a higher level of acceptance by consumers in Europe.
